Two Bowling Green High School students were injured in a single-vehicle crash early this morning at Brim
and Bishop roads.
Bowling
Green Police identified the two only as 16-year-old males and could not
provide names or their conditions as of press time.
The crash reportedly occurred at 5:19 a.m. and the vehicle the two boys occupied apparently struck a
utility pole.
Maj.
Tony Hetrick of the BG Police characterized the crash as “pretty
serious” and said the boys were able to walk afterwards, but one was
subsequently taken by air ambulance to an area hospital, and the other
was taken by BG Fire/EMS to Wood County Hospital.
The incident is still under investigation.
