Donations needed for Christmas Elves

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has received a donation of $200, but much more is needed for
the annual Christmas Elves program by the Active Community Teamwork BG (ACT BG), a project team of the
Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce.The effort is intended to help needy families in the area by accepting new
toys, books, hats, mittens, scarves, non-perishable food items and monetary donations.Drop off boxes are at
the chamber office, BG Care Center, BG Manor, the BG Convention and Visitors Bureau, Evans Home Loans, First
Federal Bank offices, Heritage Corner, Huntington Bank offices, Kellermeyer, Key Bank, PNC Bank, Student
Book Exchange, Sentinel-Tribune, Stroh Center, Union Bank, United Way and the Wood County District Public
Library.Donations will be accepted through Friday.Toys, books, hats, mittens and scarves should be unwrapped
when placed in the boxes.Monetary donations should be payable to the BG Chamber of Commerce and reference
"Christmas Elves" in the memo. Checks should be sent to P.O. Box 31, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 or
dropped of at the chamber office.Gift cards to grocery stores would also be appreciated.All items and
donations will be funneled through the Salvation Army, which acts as the local clearing house for
distribution.
