Detroit man arrested for drug trafficking

LIME CITY – A Detroit man was arrested on charges including drug trafficking following an incident
on Lime City Road last week.Perrysburg Township Police were called to assist Perrysburg Police in locating a
vehicle involved in an attempted fraud involving gift cards at a business on Carronade Drive on Dec. 3.A
vehicle matching the description was found and stopped on Lime City Road at Deimling Road.A subsequent
search of the vehicle turned up a steak knife with a blade approximately four inches in length, as well as
three plastic bags containing nearly 41 grams of marijuana. A partial box of 9mm bullets, and a number of
gift cards – these allegedly stemming from the initial fraud report – were also discovered.The driver of the
vehicle, Glennon McCray, 24, Detroit, was arrested on a charge of drug trafficking, and a charge of driving
under suspension. His case is scheduled for a hearing on Thursday in Perrysburg Municipal Court.McCray’s
female passenger, Demetria Jackson, 20, Detroit, was charged with forgery in connection to the gift cards.
Her case is also awaiting a Thursday hearing date in the court.
