LIME CITY - A Detroit man was arrested on charges including drug trafficking following an incident on Lime City Road last week.
Perrysburg Township Police were called to assist Perrysburg Police in locating a vehicle involved in an attempted fraud involving gift cards at a business on Carronade Drive on Dec. 3.
A vehicle matching the description was found and stopped on Lime City Road at Deimling Road.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a steak knife with a blade approximately four inches in length, as well as three plastic bags containing nearly 41 grams of marijuana. A partial box of 9mm bullets, and a number of gift cards - these allegedly stemming from the initial fraud report - were also discovered.
The driver of the vehicle, Glennon McCray, 24, Detroit, was arrested on a charge of drug trafficking, and a charge of driving under suspension. His case is scheduled for a hearing on Thursday in Perrysburg Municipal Court.
McCray's female passenger, Demetria Jackson, 20, Detroit, was charged with forgery in connection to the gift cards. Her case is also awaiting a Thursday hearing date in the court.
