Four people were injured - and one had to be removed from a vehicle - after two separate crashes on East Wooster Street at Shannon Drive, near the Interstate 75 overpass on Monday.
According to Bowling Green Police, at 2:21 p.m. Kyle Clark, Cygnet, was eastbound on East Wooster when Chervay Carlton, Bowling Green, pulled from Shannon Drive attempting to turn westbound onto East Wooster. She pulled out in front of Clark and was struck in the driver's side.
Carlton had to be extricated from her vehicle by mechanical means. She reported possible injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Mid-County EMS.
Clark also reported possible injuries and was taken to the hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS.
Carlton was cited for right of way from a private drive.
Earlier in the day, at 11:30 a.m., Ryan Evarts, Rossford, was eastbound on East Wooster when Nakayla Shoemaker, North Baltimore, turned westbound onto East Wooster from Shannon Drive. She failed to yield the right of way and struck Evarts's vehicle.
Evarts sustained non-incapacitating injuries, but was not transported to a hospital. Shoemaker also sustained non-incapacitating injuries, and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS.
She was cited for right of way from a left turn.
