Three people were injured in two crashes in the city Friday, including one that snarled traffic on the east side of town.
At 4:54 p.m. Laura Helweg, Bowling Green, was westbound on East Wooster Street, approaching South Mercer Road in the left turn lane, when she failed to yield the right of way for a vehicle driven by Nandi Brown, Bowling Green,  which was eastbound on East Wooster.
Helweg began to turn southbound into Brown's path and both vehicles collided.
Brown's vehicle then spun southward and struck a vehicle driven by John Knepper, Bradner, which was stopped northbound on Mercer Road for a red light.
Brown sustained incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS.  She was not listed as a patient at the hospital this morning.
Her passenger, Breanna Copeland, Bowling Green, sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was also transported to the hospital. Neither Helweg nor Knepper, or Knepper's passenger, reported injury.
Helweg was cited for right of way at a left turn.
At 11:05 a.m. Emily Stalter, Bowling Green, was southbound on North Main Street when Paige Quaintance, Rudolph, failed to yield while making a left turn and was struck by Stalter's vehicle.
Stalter sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Quaintance was cited for right of way at a left turn.
