|(Updated) Crash near Tontogany injures passenger|

TONTOGANY – One teen was injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash at Ohio 235 and Kellogg Road, west of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 6:47 p.m. Zachary Zuhlsdorf, 16, Tontogany, was stopped eastbound on Kellogg Road at the intersection with Route 235 when he proceeded into the intersection and into the path of a second vehicle, which was northbound on Route 235.
The second vehicle then struck Zuhlsdorf’s vehicle.
One of Zuhlsdorf’s passengers, Trevor Toney, 15, Perrysburg, sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Northwest EMS.
A name for the driver of the second vehicle was not immediately available.
Zuhlsdorf was cited for failure to yield.
