LIME CITY - One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday following a two-car crash in Perrysburg Township.
According to Township Police, at 11:46 a.m. a vehicle driven by Terry A. Barnhouse, 55, Elmore, was eastbound on U.S. 20 when a second vehicle, driven by George Scheckelhoff, 57, Sandusky, slowed to turn left into a business. Barnhouse's vehicle tried to pass Scheckelhoff's on the left side and struck it as it began to turn.
Scheckelhoff reported possible injuries but was not transported to a hospital. His passenger, Patti A. Scheckelhoff, 50, Sandusky, was taken to St. Luke's Hospital by Perrysburg Twp. EMS with non-incapacitating injuries.
Barnhouse was cited for assured clear distance.
