A 40-year-old man is facing two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition, involving a minor girl, and a Bowling Green man is facing his fifth felony count within a year;
Marvin Ray Howard Jr. 40, is currently being held in the Wood County jail without bond pending arraignment for his charges.
According to the indictment handed down Feb. 6, Howard is alleged to have had sexual conduct with a 5- to 6-year-old girl in one count on Nov. 1, 2011, and in the second count from that date to April 30, 2012. The imposition charge alleges the same dates.
The rape counts are first-degree felonies, while the other is a third-degree offense.
Jesse Patterson, 24, of Bowling Green and currently in jail, was indicted for the third time within the last year. The new charge is related to his actions between Sept. 15 to Nov. 11 2008, when he is alleged to have had unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, when he was more than four years older than the victim.
According to the prosecution in a court appearance earlier this month, a child was conceived as the result of the contact with the then 15-year-old female.
Patterson previously was indicted for drug possession, tampering with evidence, escape and robbery.
He was convicted in 2010 of burglary and ordered to serve a year in prison from a 2009 incident. He is slated to appear before Judge Reeve Kelsey for a further pre-trial conference in all three cases on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. He has entered not guilty pleas to all the charges.
Three Michigan residents are named as co-defendants after a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Perrysburg. Christopher James Holloway, 27, of Harrison Township, Mich., August Omar Allen, 30, of Bedford Township, Mich., and Nicole Lee Ferris, 25, of Lansing, Mich., were each charged with four counts, both trafficking and possession of both cocaine and heroin.
Others indicted include:
•    Rudy F. Cajka, 26, of Bowling Green, possession of heroin
•    Robert Michael Heifner, 30, of Bowling Green, trafficking in marijuana
•    William D. Fuller, 38, of Toledo, for aggravated menacing, tampering with evidence, and having weapons while under disability.
In addition to those indicted, bills of information were handed up for the following:
•    Lisa Rachael Zipperer, 22, of Bowling Green for theft of drugs
•    Mark D. Hintz, 25, of Walbridge, possession of drugs
•    John B. Ogilvie, 27, of Perrysburg, possession of drugs
•    Edward Wahl Jr., 48, of Toledo, possession of drugs
