The woman who has pleaded guilty to two counts of grand theft and one count of theft in regard to embezzling funds from her employer, Snook’s Dream Cars, has been granted a continuance of her sentencing. Amanda Ter Doest, of Toledo, entered the guilty pleas on Sept. 25 per an agreement with the prosecution. On Monday a limited motion for continuance was filed due to the funeral of her grandfather. Judge Robert Pollex granted the motion. Her sentencing will be Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. She faces a maximum of four years in prison for her crimes, however court proceedings previously indicated the victim is seeking more than $99,100 in restitution as opposed to any jail or prison time for her. |
