TOLEDO - A conference scheduled for Friday in the case of admitted Islamic Center Arsonist Randolph Linn has been moved.
The Record Status Conference is now set for Feb. 22 at 11:15 a.m. in Courtroom 209 before U.S. District Court Judge Jack Zouhary.
It is expected that the conference will include discussion of Linn's request to withdraw his guilty plea in the case.
In a letter filed Jan. 22, Linn, 52, who pleaded guilty in December to federal hate crimes and weapons charges in the Sept. 30 arson at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, asked to have his plea withdrawn, stating that he was under duress and "under depression over this alleged crime" when he made the plea.
He currently faces 20 years in prison and an as-yet-undetermined financial restitution if he is sentenced April 16.
