Rudolph Christmas party Sat.RUDOLPH – The Rudolph Concerned Citizens will be having their annual
Christmas party for friends and families of Liberty Township Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty Township
Civic Center on Rudolph Road.There will be crafts for the kids, guessing games, refreshments and door
prizes. Santa is to arrive at 7:15.’White Christmas’ due MondayPERRYSBURG – Monday at 2 p.m. Way Public
Library presents a special holiday screening of "White Christmas." The 1954 film stars Bing
Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney and features music by Irving Berlin. There will be Christmas
cookies, a hot chocolate bar, and popcorn. This is for adults only.Rudolph bird count Dec. 29RUDOLPH – The
eighth annual Rudolph Christmas Bird Count will be held Dec. 29.The count covers the city of Bowling Green
and surrounding countryside. Those interested in joining the effort should meet by 6:45 a.m. at the Frisch’s
Big Boy on East Wooster Street.In 2012, 18 observers participated, finding 69 species and over 17,000
birds.Areas covered are Cygnet, Portage, Rudolph, Rudolph Woods, Baldwin Woods, Cricket Frog Cove,
Wintergarden Park, Slippery Elm Trail, Wood County Landfill and points in between.Those who do not want to
spend the day in the field can participate by keeping track of birds that visit their feeder and report them
to the compiler, Tom Kemp, at 419-356-5704.Book groups resume in Jan.January is eBooks Month at Wood County

card to get one-on-one help at the second floor Information Desk downloading eBooks from the Ohio Digital

Book Group, led by Kristin Wetzel, discusses Elizabeth Stout’s "Burgess Boy."Just the Facts led by
Anne Render, meets Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m.m to talk about "Command and Control" by Eric Schlosser.
Both of these groups meet at the Carter House. 307 N. Church St.WCDPL’s branch library in Walbridge, 108 N.
Main St., will also host three book discussions: Walbridge Inspiration meets Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. to discuss
"At Home in Mitford" by Jan Karon; on Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. the fiction group will talk about
"Angels at the Table" by Debbie Macomber; and on Jan. 27 the mystery book group will meet at 6
p.m. to discuss "Mama Gets Hitched" by Deborah Sharp.
