Chicken Friday at Weston Legion
WESTON – Weston American Legion Post 409, South Main Street, will host a chicken dinner Friday from 5 to
7 p.m.
The meal also will include mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, salad, biscuit and dessert. A $10
donation is requested.
Carryouts will be available.
Pancake day Saturday at Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – Perrysburg Kiwanis will be hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast Saturday from 8 a.m. to
noon at the Schaller Memorial Building, 130 W. Indiana St.
A $6 donation at the door (children under 3 eat free) gets you all the hotcakes you can eat, along with
sausage, milk or coffee.
A variety of door prizes will be awarded.
Sat. Contra Dance at Rossford
ROSSFORD – The second Saturday Contra Dance will be Saturday at the Rossford United Methodist Church, 270
Dixie Highway.
To get to the church, take I-75 to exit 199, then go half-mile past the casino on the right.
The dance is from 7 to 10:30 p.m., which instruction from 7 to 7:30.
Partners are not necessary, and beginners and families are welcome.
The cost if $7 for adults and $5 for students ages 12 through graduate school.
Hosted by BG Cottonwood Jam String band, this is the annual pickup band dance.
Bring an instrument, get in half price. They’d like a Balalaika, will gladly accept an accordion, but
have to draw the line at tubas

Ham dinner Sunday at Bradner
BRADNER – Bradner American Legion Post will hold a ham dimmer Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 209 W.
Crocker St.
The meal includes scalloped potatoes, green beans, roll and dessert for $7. Carryouts at 419 288-3634.

St. Paul’s Table April 17
St. Paul Lutheran Church, 17050 Middleton Pike (Ohio 582), will host its third Thursday St. Paul’s Table
April 17.
The dinner is open to everyone and is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Final euchre tourney at Luckey
LUCKEY – The final Euchre Tournament of the season will be held Saturday at Luckey American Legion Hall,
335 Park Drive.
Food and registration open at 6 p.m. with play at 7. The fee is $5 and play is limited to those age 18
and older.
Proceeds to programs of the American Legion and the Auxiliary.
Wayne food day April 17
WAYNE – The April Wayne food distribution will be April 17 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Wayne fire hall.
The event is open to residents of Zip Code 43466.
Blood drive Sat. at Millbury
MILLBURY – Lakewood Church of the Brethren will sponsor a blood drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in
the Fellowship Hall, 27009 Lemoyne Road.
Appointments can be scheduled until 2:45 p.m., and walk-ins may present until 3 p.m.
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will be entertained by the father-son duo of Don and Grant Flick with a
stringed music performance at noon April 17, at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
PERRYSBURG – Way Library, in cooperation with the League of Women Voters of the Perrysburg Area will host
a talk on human trafficking by Ohio House Rep. Teresa Fedor.
The program begins Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Fedor, a Democratic, has represented the 45th and 47th Districts since 2010. She was elected to the Ohio
Senate in 2002 and served as a member until 2010, prior to that, the citizens of Toledo elected her to
serve the 52nd district of the Ohio House of Representatives in 2000. A veteran, she served in the
United States Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard, before receiving a B.S. in Education from the
University of Toledo. She spent 18 years in the classroom before pursuing public service.
Chess club meets Tuesday
The Bowling Green Chess Club will meet every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Grounds for Thought.
Casual games are played and players of all ability levels are welcome
