BRADNER – The final fish fry until October will held Friday by the Bradner American Legion riders, Post
338, 209 W. Crocker St.
Serving is from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Fish, choice of baked potato or fries, cole slaw, rolls and beverage for $9 donation.

Pemberville dinner Saturday
PEMBERVILLE – Pemberville United Methodist Church, 205 Perry St., will hold a public dinner Saturday from
4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
An $8 donation is suggested.
Fish Friday at Weston Legion
WESTON – The Weston American Legion will serve an all-up-can-eat fish dinner Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at
the post home, 13180 Main St.
The cost is $8 and carryout meals will be available.

Blood drives are scheduled in Wood County:

Farmers market meetings Tue.
The Downtown Farmers Market in Bowling Green’s vendor information meetings are now set for Tuesday at 4
and 6:30 p.m. and are expected to last for an hour. Meet at Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St.
Vendors from Wood County and its immediately neighboring counties are eligible to participate.
Market operations manuals and vendor application forms will be available at the meetings. Those materials
will also be available on the Downtown BG website at www.downtownbgohio.org after the meetings.
Tegge BG Exchange speaker
Tim Tegge will be the Exchange Club luncheon speaker Tuesday
Familiar to the Bowling Green community as a singer-songwriter and former director of the Wood County
United Way, Tegge, who is considered legally blind, will share his personal story in dealing with his
visual impairment and how it has shaped his life.
He has been involved with The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio for several years and has served on its
Board of Trustees. The Sight Center is a non-profit organization providing a variety of services for
people who are blind or visually impaired, including minimizing the effects of blindness through
education and prevention.
Dick Eppstein, preasident of the Toledo Better Business Bureau, will be the speaker at the March 20
meeting of the Bowling Green Rotary Club.
The club meets at 11:40 a.m. at Bowling Green Country Club.
Libertarian candidate to speak
Charlie Earl, a Bowling Green area resident and a candidate for Ohio governor on the Libertarian Party
ticket will meet with anyone interested March 20 at 11:30 a.m. in Stimmel’s Market on West Wooster
Street.
He was removed from the ballot on a technicality by the secretary of state earlier this month. The
Libertarian Party is challenging this decision in federal court. Where does his campaign go from here?

PERRYSBURG — So Now Women’s Alliance will hold the kick-off of its monthly luncheons March 20 at the
Carranor Hunt & Polo Club in Perrysburg.
"We’re very excited about this new offering," said So Now’s founder, Jennifer Wenzke.
"This will be convenient for women in this area to participate more fully."
Each event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will include lunch, a program and a networking exercise. The cost
is $17. The registration deadline is Monday.

Waterville history event Wed.
"A Pictorial History of Waterville" will be presented by Jim Conrad, president of the
Waterville Historical Society Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Browning Masonic Community. The program will
focus on the evolution of Waterville from river town to canal town to rail town.
Conrad will use old photographs from the archives at Wakeman Hall as well as his own collection to
illustrate the transition of the town from settlement to city. He will touch upon stories of human
interest such as the murder of Isaac Richardson and the first legal hanging in northwest Ohio.
The Browning Community Center is located at 8883 Browning Drive, just off of Neowash Road south of
Waterville.
