BRADNER – An all-you-can-eat fish fry will be held Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. by the Bradner American

Contra dance at Rossford
ROSSFORD – The second Saturday Contra Dance will be this weekend at the Rossford United Methodist Church,
270 Dixie Hwy.
The dance is from 7 to 10:30 p.m., which instruction from 7 to 7:30.
Partners are not necessary, and beginners and families are welcome.
The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students ages 12 through graduate school.
The band is the Wes Linenkugel Quartet.

Bingo Saturday in Dunbridge
DUNBRIDGE – The Dunbridge Volunteer Fire Department will host bingo Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., Ohio 582
and Dunbridge Road.

Euchre tourney canceled
LUCKEY – Saturday’s euchre tournament at the Luckey American Legion Hall has been canceled. The next
tournament is Feb. 8.
Maumee Valley antique show
MAUMEE – Maumee Valley Historical Society’s 2014 Antique Show and Sale will be Jan. 25-26 at the Lucas
County Recreation Center; 2901 Key St.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 25 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 26.
Vendors from across the country will be displaying and selling their collections of quality antiques at
realistic prices. There is something for the beginning collector as well as the advanced collector.
Parking is free and tickets may be purchased at the show.
Show me movie at Perrysburg
PERRSBURG – The January installment in Way Public Library’s adult contemporary film series Show Me the
Movie is scheduled Monday at 2 p.m.
Anthony Hopkins stars in "The World’s Fastest Indian" as introverted Burt Munro whose obsessive
tinkering with his 1920 Indian motorcycle made him unpopular with his neighbors but eventually turned
him into a beloved folk hero in his native New Zealand.
When Burt decided to take his ancient machine to the Bonneville Salt Flats to challenge the world speed
record in 1967, fellow racers were shocked by his unassuming demeanor and obsolete-looking bike. But
Burt was nothing if not confident in his "old girl," urging her on to break a record.
