Bowling Green Mayor Richard Edwards has called a 9:30 a.m. Wednesday press conference to announce the formation of a coalition of citizens interested in preserving Bowling Green’s charter.
The Bowling Green Coalition for Preserving the City Charter will work to inform voters of the purpose and history of the city charter and the possible effect of the proposed amendment on the charter.
Edwards will serve a chairperson of the coalition, with former mayor John Quinn as honorary chairman.
Additional members of a bipartisan commission will be announced at that time.
