A new partnership between the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau and Bowling Green State University is intended to enhance visitor services for the university and the community.

The university’s visitor center has been renamed and will now also serve the community. The newly remodeled BGSU/Bowling Green Visitor Center will be operated by the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The on-campus center is located on Alumni Drive near Wooster Street.

BGSU students in the university’s Tourism, Leisure, and Event Planning Program will staff the center, with oversight from Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The partnership is the result of a visioning process between the university and the city of Bowling Green to strengthen “town-gown” relationships.

The BGSU/Bowling Green Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
