The Bowling Green law office of John Cheetwood has merged with another local law firm.
The firm's new name is Cheetwood, Davies, Ruck and Speweik, and has offices located in Pemberville, Woodville, Fremont and Bowling Green.
Cheetwood noted that he had been law partners with R. Nigel Davies for nearly 23 years, until 1988, when Davies moved to a Pemberville office and expanded the firm with Corey Speweik and J. Douglas Ruck, both of the Pemberville area.
"We're putting back the old partnership, sort of, but with new faces," said Cheetwood.
The merger took effect June 1.
"Really, it's kind of a one-stop shop for all your legal needs," said Speweik, including estate planning, personal injury, litigation, family law and probate law, among other areas.
"A small business often needs a breadth of legal services," said Ruck.
The firm additionally has a new associate, Kyle Wright. He attended Bowling Green State University and earned his law degree from the University of Toledo.
A ribbon cutting for the business was held July 15.
