Carol L. Solether, Bowling Green, a Modern Woodmen of America representative, has attained the Fraternal Insurance Counselor designation.
The FIC title is an educational designation that can be earned by career life insurance representatives associated with fraternal insurance societies. Representatives devote more than one year to meet the examination and career development criteria set by the Fraternal Field Managers Association.
Christie Fair, of Bowling Green has accepted the position of business development specialist at Rudolph/Libbe Inc. She holds a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in journalism from Bowling Green State University.
The Rudolph/Libbe Companies is among the region's largest contractors and employs 1,000-1,500 construction trades.
Jill Bernthisel, a licensed massage therapist and physical therapist recently returned from Maine where she completed a certificate of advanced study is Myofascial release techniques called "Two Integrated Approaches to Shoulder Pain."
Myofascial release is a technique used in both the rehabilitation and human movement fields, which challenges therapists to look further and to develop integrative strategies for pain and structural dysfunction.

Tom Stalter, a civil engineer with 29 years of experience in environmental engineering has been named Northwestern Water and Sewer District's Engineer.
He will be responsible for a 10 person department and will oversee the district's $180 million in water and sanitary sewer assets.
He will be replacing Bill Barber, the District's current engineer who is retiring in 2014.
Cathy Blatchly has joined the staff of Huntington Chiropractic and Wellness. Cathy is a physical therapist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. She has worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings. Cathy was recently certified as a Yogafit instructor. Her speciality areas include evaluation and treatment of neck and lower back pain, women's health (including incontinence and osteroporosis) and neuromuscular disorders such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's Disease and inner ear dysfunction.
