Kacey Smith, P.E., was presented with her Professional Engineering License at a Statehouse ceremony hosted by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). Smith earned her bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Ohio Northern University. She is a transportation engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Her hometown is Bowling Green. Smith is a member of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers. OSPE, a state affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers, promotes the ethical conduct of practicing professional engineers, high standards for engineering education, and to advance public safety.
