Michael George has been named director of Development & Annual Fund for Lourdes University. As Lourdes continues to move forward in its seven year strategic plan, George will play an integral role in building a solid foundation of funding for the institution and will serve as chief strategist for Lourdes University's Annual Fund.
George spent three years at the United Way of Greater Toledo, first as director of technical assistance, Center for Nonprofit Resources and later as director for the United Way in Wood County. He has served as board president of the Exchange Club of Bowling Green and the Toledo Day Nursery and was a committee member at the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity. George holds a bachelor of arts from Miami University. He lives in Perrysburg with his wife Karen and son Spencer.
