Four people were sentenced to prison recently in the Wood County Court of Common Pleas.
Markus Thompson II, 23, Bradner, was sentenced to 11 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of grand theft when the property is a firearm or dangerous ordinance, and one court of breaking and entering.
The charges stemmed from an incident in June of this year in which Thompson reportedly entered a residence on Hill Road in Bradner and stole two rifles.
Joseph Sosenko, 28, Sheffield Lake, was sentenced to 12 months after pleading guilty to one count of grand theft and one count of attempting to engage in a pattern of corrupt activity.
The charges were related to a series of 11 theft incidents in which Sosenko and associates stole merchandise in excess of $7,500 from stores in Perrysburg Township, Rossford, and throughout northern Ohio.
Gerald Dombroff, 33, Toledo, was sentenced to a total of 11 months in prison after pleading guilty to nine counts of breaking and entering that occurred in the Perrysburg area in 2010. He received 11 months for each count - more than eight years all told - but is to serve the sentences concurrently, for an aggregate of 11 months.
Megan Hall, 24, Goshen, Ind., was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of forgery. She reportedly forged a check and attempted to have it cashed at a business.
