Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a business on South Main Street Sunday afternoon.
Bowling Green Police Chief Brad Conner reported that they were alerted to the crime at 2:54 p.m. when an employee at Family Video, 816 S. Main St., called to indicate that they had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.
"He'd been in the store for a while," said Conner, "just kind of looking around, and when the store was empty, just him and the attendant, that's when he approached the counter."
The man did not display a weapon, said Conner, "he just ordered the lone female employee to turn the cash over to him."
The man fled from the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair approximately six feet tall, wearing a blue shirt, white shorts, and a ball cap.
The incident is still under investigation.
Those with information are asked to contact the Police Division, or Wood County Crimestoppers at (419) 352-0077.
