|Bluffton woman hurt in SE Wood County hit-and-run|

FOSTORIA – The driver and another woman injured in a hit-and-run incident early Sunday on Ohio 199 have been identified.
Chief Deputy Eric Reyolds of the Wood County Sheriff’s Office said this morning that Amber Allgire, 23, Fostoria, was the driver of the 2005 Chrysler Sebring which reportedly struck Bridgette Staley, 23, Bluffton, as she walked near the intersection of Route 199 and Pelton Road, just north of Fostoria in Perry Township.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m.
Fostoria EMS and the West Millgrove Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. Initial reports indicated that an unresponsive person was lying in the roadway.
Staley was first taken to Fostoria Hospital, and subsequently airlifted to another hospital in the Toledo area. The name of the hospital, and an update to Staley’s condition, was not available this morning.
Further details were not available, as the investigation is ongoing.
