Michael Sibbersen, Wood County auditor, will hold a forfeited land sale Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the hearing room on the fifth floor of the County Office Building in Bowling Green.
The sale will be a public auction and the parcels which are being offered due to non-payment of taxes will be sold to the highest bidder. Each property has been forfeited to the state after failing to sell at sheriff's sale.
A list of parcels is available at the Wood County Auditor's Office or online at www.co.wood.oh.us/auditor/. These parcels are located in six different taxing districts in the County as follows: Henry Township, North Baltimore, Lake Township, Millbury, Custar and Risingsun.
There are 15 parcels listed for sale at this date. However, if prior to sale time, the delinquent tax charges are paid by the owner the parcel will be removed from the list. Included among the properties for sale are the former Methodist Church west of Hammansburg and residential structures on three of the parcels.

Lt. Tim McGiffin of the Wood County Sheriff's Office is hoping to "Make A Difference For Christmas" this year.
His project of the same name is looking to support some needy families in the Bowling Green and Wood County area.
McGiffin is seeking donations of non-perishable food, toys, and/or gift certificates in order to present gift baskets to needy college students, senior citizens, single parents and others in need
The project hopes to help three or four families, and local agencies are to be approached for names of those who could benefit.
"This is the first year," McGiffin said of the project. "For the past few years we had, through conjunction with the sheriff's office, we had done a Thanksgiving basket."
