LIME CITY - One man is dead after he fell off his bicycle and was struck by a car in Perrysburg Township.
The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway patrol said that Rufino Secundino, 55, Perrysburg, was killed in the crash, which occurred on Roachton Road, west of Scheider Road, at approximately 3:33 p.m. Thursday.
At that time a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Nathan Kerber, Perrysburg, was westbound on Roachton Road when Secundino, on an Avalon mountain bike, was eastbound in the westbound lane.
Secundino reportedly lost control and fell off the bicycle and into the westbound lane of travel. He was then struck by Kerber's vehicle.
Alcohol involvement in the crash is unknown and the incident remains under investigation.
