Two theater students were injured Wednesday when a scissor lift they were moving in the Wolfe Center for the Arts on the Bowling Green State University campus fell over.
Terra Writz, a junior from Rock Creek, Ill., and Jeremiah Kowalski, a senior with a Bowling Green address, were moving a lift between the Eva Marie Saint and Donnell theaters in the center about 4 p.m.
Writz sustained a head injury and Kowalski sustained a leg injury.
Both university police and city firefighters responded to the scene, and the two students were taken to Wood County Hospital.
Writz was treated and released and Kowalski was admitted, university spokesman David Kielmeyer said.
Kielmeyer said safety of students is a top priority for the university.
"The office of risk management is investigating the incident."
No productions are currently up in either venue.
