Bowling Green Police have arrested a Bowling Green State University student in connection to a sexual assault that occurred this weekend.
Arrested was William D. Jackson, 20, of the McDonald East residence hall, on one count of rape.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred at 802 E. Wooster early Sunday morning. Officers were called to the scene to investigate a sexual assault. Upon arrival, witnesses pointed to Jackson and an unconscious female in the yard of the residence. Investigation revealed that Jackson did not know the victim. The victim was found to be intoxicated beyond the ability to consent. She was transported by BG Fire to the Wood County Hospital, treated and released.
