Jeff Nelson, CCR, director of bookstores and enterprise services at Bowling Green State University, has
been installed as a trustee on the board of the National Association of College Stores, the professional
trade association that represents the nation’s collegiate retailing industry.
As a trustee, Nelson will help provide governance for the Association’s more than 4,000 store and
associate members and will assist the organization in its mission of enhancing college stores through
education, advocacy and the utilization of new technologies.
Active in college store associations, Nelson has served as president of the Independent College Bookstore
Association as well as the Ohio Association of College Stores. For six years, he directed the Council
for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education ,representing NACS.
Nelson also serves on the NACS Institutional Site License Task Force, the ICBA Technology Solutions
committee and is a director for Campus eBookstore, Inc.
