BGPD investigates possible overdose PDF Print E-mail

Police are investigating a possible overdose after they were called to the report of an unruly man Wednesday.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the Bowling Green Police Division said officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of Eighth Street around 2:30 p.m. on the report of a “roommate going crazy.”
When police arrived, they called for an ambulance and found the man unresponsive. He did not initially appear to be breathing.
However, the man reportedly began breathing on his own and was taken to Wood County Hospital.
Hetrick indicated that evidence of drug abuse was found at the scene.
The matter is currently under investigation and no charges have yet been issued.
