BGHS, BGSU bands combine for concert (2-24-14) PDF Print E-mail

The Bowling Green High School Bands and BGSU Trombone Choir will be combining forces at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the BG City Schools Performing Arts Center.
The concert will begin with music written by the Italian composer, Giovanni Gabrieli who wrote some very creative antiphonal brass music over 400 years ago.
Declan Wicks, an alumni of Bowling Green High School, will also be performing as a member of the BGSU Trombone Choir.
Dr. William Mathis conducts the BGSU Trombone Choir.
The BG Concert Band conducted by Jeremy Sison will then perform followed by the BGSU Trombone Choir.  
The BG symphonic band will conclude the evening. Bruce Corrigan conducts the band.
There is no admission charge.
