A Clough Street woman was arrested on multiple charges in the city after a spree of burglaries and other
incidents Sunday.
Makaila Korakas, 30, was listed this morning at the Wood County jail and was being held without bond.
Bowling Green Police report that around 4 p.m. Korakas was in a Clough Street apartment yelling and
making threats. She then ran to another apartment and entered against the will of the resident. While
there, she reportedly gave a beer she had with her to the resident’s child, who was standing nearby.
Korakas allegedly then fled that apartment and was next cited several hours later at a home in the 300
block of Bentwood, which police say she entered and reportedly took a screwdriver. Korakas told a
resident she intended to use it to break into her own residence.
Korakas was located 10 minutes later in the 1000 block of Brookwood, where she allegedly broke into
another occupied residence. She fled that location and was found by police directly behind the home in
an intoxicated state.
She was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of trespassing, furnishing alcohol to a minor,
theft, criminal damaging, and aggravated menacing.
