BG to start 24-hour parking enforcement

Bowling Green has stepped up enforcement of its 24 hour parking rule on city streets.
If your vehicle has been parked on a city street for more than 24 hours and was marked by Parking
Enforcement Wednesday, the vehicle will be ticketed and towed today commencing at 10:30 a.m.
This enforcement is being done in order to clear the large amounts of snow that remains on streets
throughout the city. Wednesday BGPD Parking Enforcement marked over 100 vehicles for the 24 hour
violation and it was clear that many had not moved in several days.
This effort will begin in the numbered streets area of the Second Ward and will continue until all city
streets have been cleared.
