BG taking applications for entry-level police officers PDF Print E-mail

The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will hold a physical agility examination on April 13, a pre-requisite to the written exam, for the position of entry-level police officer. Candidates who pass the physical agility test will be scheduled to take a written examination, which will be on May 11.
Candidates must complete an application that is available through the City's Personnel Department, which is located in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 North Church St. Application materials also are available on-line at http://www.bgohio.org/departments/personnel-department/employment-opportunities. Resumes may be included, but will not substitute for a completed city application.
Specific information about the examination process will be provided upon application.
Applications will be accepted through April 8. A copy of the job description will be provided to applicants.
New employees must serve a one-year probationary period.
Starting salary is $22.11 per hour.
