Police are looking for two women, and have filed charges against a male suspect, in two separate felony
thefts at the Meijer story Wednesday night.
The first incident was reported at the site, 2111 E. Wooster St., at approximately 7:30 p.m. Two white
females – one identified as older and the second as a teenager – reportedly pushed a cart containing a
vacuum cleaner valued at $240 out of the store without paying.
They left the area in a purple Chevrolet. The pair did not take the merchandise with them, and the cart
and its contents were recovered.
In the second incident, a man identified as Richard Rau, 28, Findlay, allegedly stole three Dyson vacuum
cleaners from the store in an incident reported at 10:57 p.m.
Charges have been filed against him for felony theft.
