BG man joins state patrol PDF Print E-mail

A Bowling Green man was in Friday's graduating class of the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy.
Nicholas Palmer has been assigned to the Swanton post.
The patrol's 153rd academy class completed 22 weeks of intense paramilitary training.
The keynote address was provided by John W. Magaw, former director of the U.S. Secret Service and a 1959 graduate of the academy. Additional remarks were provided by Director Thomas P. Charles, Ohio Department of Public Safety; Colonel John Born, patrol superintendent'and Captain Brigette Charles, academy commandant.

Nick Palmer is a fine young man and will serve the people of the State of Ohio well. Nick is an Eagle Scout from Troop 358 and his father and mother (Eric & Jackie) should be very proud. Congratulations Nick!
