A Bowling Green man was indicted on multiple charges, including rape and kidnapping, following a May incident at an apartment in the city.
Jhon M. Rosado, 24, currently listed at the Wood County jail, and who also has a listed address in New Jersey, was indicted by a Wood County grand jury Wednesday.
He was indicted on one count of rape, one count of kidnapping, one count of assault, and one count of aggravated burglary in the incident, which reportedly occurred the night of May 16 to 17.
Bowling Green Police reported that Rosado entered the residence of a woman with whom he had a history at Fairview Manor Apartments in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue.
According to papers filed in Bowling Green Municipal Court, Rosado then "engaged in sexual conduct with the victim while the victim was bound by duct tape and rope against her consent."
The assault charge stems from an incident involving a 10-year-old juvenile. Children were reportedly in the apartment during the incident.
Police reported the woman cut herself free and escaped with her children after Rosado passed out after taking medication.
Rosado was being held in the jail on no bond. An arraignment date for his case was not available Friday.
