BG man in critical condition after Michigan crash PDF Print E-mail

Bowling Green resident John S. Magada, 45, remained in critical condition this morning at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, following an early morning accident on Thursday in Monroe Township, Mich.
According to Deputy Daniel Zdybek of the Monroe County Sheriff's Traffic Services Division, Magada was involved in a one-car accident on South Telegraph Road south of Dunbar Road. His 1994 Mazda RX-7 struck a tree after he lost control at a high rate of speed and left the roadway on a curve. His car spun and struck the tree with the rear of the vehicle.
The accident occurred just before 3 a.m. on Thursday. He was wearing a seatbelt.
Magada was taken from Mercy Hospital, Monroe, by air ambulance to the Toledo facility.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Monroe Township Fire Department along with Monroe Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
