A Bowling Green man was sentenced to four years in prison on a sexual battery charge.
Leonel Reynoso, 42, received the sentence in Wood County Court of Common Pleas after making an Alford
plea to a single count of sexual battery.
Such a plea does not admit guilty, but acknowledges that there is enough evidence for the prosecution to
prove their case.
Reynoso had originally been indicted on three counts of rape regarding incidents reported in 2000 and
allegedly involving a female who was 11 years of age at the time. The amended charge was a result of a
plea agreement.
He also is to register as a Class III sex offender.
Also recently sentenced were:
• Robert Donald, 53, Grand Rapids, to six months for violation of a protection order.
• Douglas Irvin Jr., 34, Perrysburg, to three years for one count of perjury.
• Devin Knott, 24, Toledo, to 13 months for violation of parole involving a heroin charge and failure to
appear.
• Marc Moyer, 25, Norwalk, to 10 months for one count of receiving stolen property.
• Corey Thurman, 29, Sylvania, to six months for possession of criminal tools.
