A man was arrested Saturday after a foot pursuit stemming from a traffic stop on Clough Street.
Bowling Green Police report that an officer observed a van westbound on Clough at Enterprise Street
driving with no headlights.
After initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle, the occupant, later identified as Daniel Gadus, 24, BG,
fled the scene.
Officers later caught up with him on South Summit Street and he was arrested. A Taser was reportedly
deployed in the incident, but it did not strike Gadus, who was reported to be highly intoxicated.
The van was later determined to have been stolen from a Bowling Green location.
Gadus was taken to jail and charged with two counts of operating a vehicle while under the influence,
obstructing official business, receiving stolen property, and headlights at night.
His blood alcohol level was reported at 0.187.
