When you don't feel like going out for dinner - Bowling Green has a new business that will bring dinner to you.
BG Delivered, headquartered at 130 S. Main St., and owned by Bowling Green State University student Cody Peacock, is now open and offers delivery from any restaurant in BG that doesn't already deliver.
"We have tons of pizza places here in BG and I guess that kind of spoiled us," Peacock said.
But what about the nights when pizza just won't hit the spot? What if you want Mexican, a burrito or chicken wings?
"The younger generation, we don't like to go out and get food, especially in Bowling Green, we like to have food delivered," he said.
And that's exactly what BG Delivered does.
"We will deliver from any place in BG to any place in Bowling Green," said Peacock, who is from the Cleveland area.
Orders can be placed by phone or online. If submitting an order online, a person types out their order, selects payment information, which then transmits an e-mail to BG Delivered staff letting them know an order has been placed.
"All you do is fill out the form and your food will show up," he said.
For orders under $10, there is a flat fee of $3.99. For orders over $10, the fee is 20 percent of the meal cost, plus $1.99.
Peacock said he sees his business being used by BGSU students, community members, international students, the elderly, Wood Lane clients/residents, and others.
Those business professionals working through lunch from their desk, for example, can time their food delivery to show up at their desk right at the start of their break.
The business also delivers groceries.
"That's also nice for students. Freshman and sophomores lives in the dorms and going to get your car, driving to the grocery store, unloading and parking your car again is difficult," Peacock said.
The grocery fee is $5.99 for up to 10 items. There is an additional fee for 10 or more items.
As a grand opening special, BG Delivered is offering a free can of pop for orders $10 or less and a free two-liter or energy drink with orders $10 or more.
Summer hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. In the fall, the business will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
To place an order, call (419) 352-3131 or visit www.bgdelivered.com.
