BG Board of Education calls Saturday meeting

The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold an emergency meeting on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the
Administrative Offices building, 137 Clough St., for the purpose of modifying the 2013-2014 school
calendar, adoption of a resolution regarding the use of blizzard bags/on-line make-up days for the
2013-2014 school year and discuss other options for make-up days.
Action is expected to be taken.
The district has lost 11 days due to weather. Five days are allowed.
Legislation in Columbus might increase allowed calamity days to nine.
Currently, the last day for classes in Bowling Green is May 30.
