PERRYSBURG - More golfers are needed for the second annual "One Club Golf Outing" for the benefit of "S.P.O.H.N.C.," Support for People with Oral, Head & Neck Cancer, in honor of Trisha Appelhans. She died of the rare cancer on June 22.
It will be held at Tanglewood Golf Course, Dowling Road, Perrysburg, on Aug. 17 with a shotgun start at 3 p.m.
All levels of golfers are invited to participate. Cost is $40 per person and donations will be accepted.
This is a fun event and no prizes are awarded based on the team's final score.
It is a 9-hole event and is open to the first 72 registered and paid players.
