A Toledo woman was arrested on assault charges Tuesday after throwing a beer bottle through the window of an occupied vehicle. Bowling Green Police report that just before 5:30 p.m., in the 1000 block of South Main Street, Brandy Johnson, 29. threw a half-empty 40-ounce bottle of beer through the driver's side window of a vehicle being driven by another woman, striking the driver in the jaw and shattering the window. The driver was reportedly attempting to call 911 for police assistance at the time. Police Lt. Brad Biller said this morning that an argument between two women, including the driver, over children led to the incident. Johnson was arrested for felony assault, criminal damaging and endangering, and disrupting public services. |
