PERRYSBURG – Autopsy results are still pending concerning a 3-year-old boy who became ill in the city on
Monday and later died. The Lucas County Coroner’s office said this morning that results were not yet
available.
According to Perrysburg Police, at 4:30 p.m. fire/EMS units were called to a residence in the 700 block
of Deer Run on the report that the boy "suddenly and unexpectedly became ill and stopped
breathing."
The boy was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, and then Toledo Hospital, where he later died. The
autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.
