LIME CITY – At least two people were injured in a crash involving a semi and two card this morning on
U.S. 20 near U.S. 23 in northeast Wood County.
The crash was reported about 6:50 a.m. Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies and EMS personnel were still on the
crash scene after 9 a.m. Via their Twitter account, the Sheriff’s Office told motorists to avoid the
area due to long delays. A subsequent tween approximately 45 minutes later indicated that the roadway
had again opened.
One person was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Mercey Medical Center in Toledo. An air ambulance
was also dispatched to the scene.
