At 6:20 p.m., Alexander Smith, Sylvania, was westbound on Dirlam Road, east of Napo-leon Road, when he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the north side of the road, and then re-entered the roadway, subsequently driving off the left side of the road and striking a tree.
