|5 injured in crash Friday|

PERRYSBURG - Five people were taken to Toledo Hospital following a crash at Ohio 25 and Interstate 475 last week.
Perrysburg Police report that just after 10:40 p.m. Jashelyn Alexander, Toledo, driving a 2004 Dodge Durango, was attempting to turn southboud on Ohio 25 from the I-475 north offramp when a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by Steven Irvin, Liverpool, Penn., failed to stop for a red light while nortbound on Route 25, striking Alexander's vehicle.
Alexander sustained incapacitating injuries, as did passengers Marvin Harris, Prentice Edwards, and Laquita Orr, all of Toledo. Passenger Catherine Jackson, Toledo, sustained non-incapacitating injuries, and another passenger, Lloyd Wise, Toledo, reported possible injuries. He was not taken to a hospital.
All but Wise were transported by either Maumee, Perrysburg, or Perrysburg Township EMS.
Irvin was not injured. He was cited for failure to obey a red light.
