2 injured in separate crashes PDF Print E-mail

Two people were injured in separate accidents handled by the Wood County Sheriff's Office Thursday.
At 3:22 a.m. in the 3800 block of Ohio 199 in Perry Township, Michael St. Clair III, Fostoria, was northbound when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a telephone pole. The vehicle came to rest on its left side.
St. Clair was taken to Fostoria Hospital by Fostoria EMS with non-incapacitating injuries.
He was cited for failure to control.
Later that day, Brandie Vargas, Wayne, was southbound on Reynolds Road, just south of Ohio 281 southeast of Portage, when she drove off the right side of the road, and struck a ditch culvert. The vehicle then went into the ditch.
Vargas sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Mid-County 120 EMS.
She was cited for operation without reasonable control.
