NORTH BALTIMORE - Two people were injured in an accident Saturday on Interstate 75 just north of the Hancock County line. The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reports that at 9:36 a.m. a husband and wife were traveling on I-75 at the 167 mile marker when they reportedly struck a patch of slick roadway. They vehicle then traveled off the road and into a ditch, where it overturned. The pair had to be extricated by mechanical means from the vehicle, and were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, with unknown injuries. The full names of the pair were not available this morning. The Ohio Department of Transportation was reportedly called to the scene to lay salt down following the accident. |
