2 burglaries in Risingsun reported Sat. PDF Print E-mail

Deputies looked into a number of burglary and theft incidents reported throughout the county over the weekend.
Two burglaries were reported Saturday morning in Risingsun. The first was reported at 7:36 a.m. A deputy responded to the 300 block of Main Street on the report of a burglary at the residence there.
A second burglary was reported in the 8000 block of Fostoria Road in the village at 9:37 a.m. A window air conditioning unit, as well as a washer and dryer, were taken from the home.
A vacant home was also broken into in the 3000 block of Brandeberry Road, Fostoria, on Saturday. The incident was reported shortly before noon. Signs of forcible entry were evident at the property, but it did not appear that anything was taken.
A theft from a vehicle was reported Saturday in the 19000 block of Church Street, Hoytville. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 10 a.m. Friday and 4 a.m. Saturday.
The theft of firewood was also reported in the 3000 block of Fremont Pike, rural Perrysburg, on Sunday.
